Robotic welding & factory automation / UAE
Atomix designs, builds and commissions robotic welding and material handling cells for manufacturers across the UAE and the Gulf. You get a running cell, trained operators and a service contract, not a crate of parts and a manual.

Welds passing inspection first time
We don't sell robots. We design, engineer and deploy complete automation systems that increase manufacturing capacity, reduce labor dependency and deliver measurable ROI.
The business case
Most fabricators in the region are not losing money on the weld itself. They are losing it on everything that happens around the weld.
What we automate
Welding is our core. The same engineering approach covers everything that feeds a weld cell and everything that comes after it.
WeldingCore line
Arc and laser welding cells, orbital and rail-mounted carriages, positioners and manipulators, sized to your part and your throughput.
Handling
Machine tending, robotic palletizing and depalletizing, conveyor and sortation integration for production and warehouse operations.
Assembly
Robotic screwdriving, riveting, bonding and pick and place for repetitive assembly work that ties up skilled hands.
Inspection
Cutting, grinding and deburring cells, plus vision based inspection with logged results for traceability and audits.
Welding systems
Which one fits depends on your seam geometry, batch size and certification requirements. That is exactly what the free assessment answers.
Rail and track mounted carriages for pipelines, tanks and long plate seams. High deposition, consistent travel speed, minimal operator fatigue.
Arc welding for heavy structural work, laser for thin gauge and tight tolerance parts where heat distortion is the problem you are trying to solve.
Six-axis cells with positioners for vessels, flanges, nozzles and frames. Reprogrammable between part types, so one cell serves a whole product family.
Selected projects
Numbers below are measured on the client's own parts, before and after commissioning.
Oil & gas / pipeline construction
Orbital welding machines, rail mounted carriages, automated arc control and ultrasonic weld inspection. The client cut labour and QC cost per joint, shortened commissioning on site, and held compliance with the pipeline welding standards their contract demanded.
Energy / large volume tanks
Manipulators with 3D edge scanning, adaptive trajectory correction and live parameter monitoring. The station paid back quickly on labour alone, and the certified, repeatable weld record opened export markets the client could not previously bid on.
Process equipment / gas separators
3D scanning and adaptive path correction let the cell absorb fit-up variation between shells instead of passing it on to the welder. Consistent penetration on every circumferential seam, with parameters logged per unit for the certification file.
How we work
Four stages. You can stop after the first one if the numbers do not justify the investment, and we will tell you when they do not.
01
We take one of your real parts, model the cycle and put a payback figure on paper. Free, and yours to keep either way.
02
Cell layout, fixturing, robot and power source selection, offline simulation of the weld path before anything is ordered.
03
Installed into your existing shop, programmed on your parts, signed off against agreed cycle time and weld quality.
04
Your operators are trained to run and reprogram the cell. Warranty, spares and scheduled service from the same team.
Also from Atomix
The same sourcing and engineering team also specifies and builds compute hardware for AI workloads, for clients running models on premise rather than in someone else's cloud.
Where we work
Based in Dubai, delivering across the United Arab Emirates and the wider Gulf region.
Straight answers
It depends far more on your part than on the robot. A single-robot cell with a positioner and basic fixturing sits at one end, a multi-robot line with vision and automated loading at the other. Rather than quote a range that means nothing for your case, we run the free assessment first and give you a budget figure with a stated accuracy, so you can take a real number to your board.
On repeat parts with steady volume, 12 to 24 months is the usual outcome, driven mostly by labour, rework and consumable savings. On low volume, high mix work the case is weaker and we will say so. The assessment shows you the calculation, not just the conclusion.
No. Cells are built and pre-tested before they reach your floor, and installation is planned around your schedule, typically into an existing bay without major reconstruction. We agree the downtime window with you in the design stage rather than discovering it on site.
In practice they move up. Robotic cells still need fit-up, programming, torch maintenance and inspection, and those roles pay better than running the same seam by hand all day. Most clients automate because they cannot hire enough skilled welders, not because they want fewer.
Yes, but it has to be planned in from the start. Standards such as AWS D1.1 require qualified procedures backed by procedure qualification records, and certified equipment listings may need to be reviewed when you change how a joint is welded. We raise this in the first stage rather than at handover, because it affects both cost and schedule.
We are not tied to one manufacturer. We work with the major industrial robot platforms and welding power sources, and select per project based on reach, payload, duty cycle, process requirements and local service availability. Being brand independent is the point: the specification follows your part, not our stock.
Yes. Operator training, warranty, stocked spare parts and scheduled maintenance are part of the delivery, handled by the same engineers who built the cell. Automation that nobody can service is just expensive floor space.
A 30 minute assessment on a real component from your line: cycle time, expected savings and a budget figure you can act on.
No obligation. If automation does not pay back on your parts, we will say so.
